Brian and I met at the end of January 2020 through a silly little dating app. Brian messaged me and at first I responded a few times. However, I got a TERRIBLE ear infection around the same time. Since I wasn't feeling too great, I didn't respond to him for a week! Brian still to this day demands that I was trying to ghost him. I swear I was just casually dying. After I finally started texting back, we never stopped again. We went on our first real date on Valentine's Day of 2020. He took me to a Trevor Noah comedy show in Charlottesville and then we went to eat afterwards. At dinner, I stole a tater tot from his plate, but didn't realize that they were spicy cheesy tater tots. I set my mouth on fire and we didn't stop laughing for like ten minutes. Never again will I steal a tater tot. It was the perfect first date. Fast forward four years and here we are with a house, two dogs and about to get married! We have been through so many highs and so many lows over the past few years and I can't wait to see what is in store for us over the next 50 years!
